We love working with architects and interior designers and believe a cooperative effort of allied professionals can bring your client the very best possible outcome. Working closely as a team and with the client’s goals foremost in mind, we assume the role of kitchen specialist and collect, organize and implement the large amount of information needed to properly design and detail the most complex room in the house.
As a Certified Kitchen Designer with 35 years of experience, we bring a focused expertise to the work space, highly skilled at designing and specifying cabinetry and countertops, dealing with plumbing and electrical layouts, traffic patterns, lighting, ergonomics, appliance clearances and material selections, all while staying faithful to the project’s defined aesthetics.
Working from provided architectural plans, we will supply a fully developed design concept complete with detailed scale drawings, elevations and 3D perspectives and can specify, source and supply most materials. We have the ability to import and export AutoCAD files for an easy, seamless collaboration.
BUILDERS
In any building or remodeling process there are tons of decisions the homeowner has to make, and they often turn to their builder for help and advice. When it comes to kitchens and baths, the choices are many, varied, and are often time sensitive so the project won't be delayed. We become the liaison between the builder and client and an extension of the builder's team, providing a hands-on, personalized working relationship between designer and homeowner that greatly benefits the builder.
We take care of all the details, including complete design, selection and installation of cabinets, countertops, hardware, fixtures, tile, etc.; help with appliance selection, provide the builder with accurate layouts as well as electrical and plumbing plans for the subs, and help the client with all of the time-consuming decisions, leaving the builder free to concentrate on other aspects of the project. Given how many choices are involved in a kitchen renovation, it is a relief for the client to know they’ve got a dedicated partner who is looking out for them and keeping track of every detail, and a relief for the builder who can trust us to provide the information and materials they need, when they need it.
REALTORS
Often a home that goes on the market may appear less desirable due to outdated kitchens and bathrooms. This is especially true in an empty home, where the eye will immediately be drawn to those less-than-wonderful spaces. Not all prospective homeowners have the vision to see future potential. Our real estate design service provides a solution to that problem by offering a preview of what the end results of a remodel can be – with our highly realistic full color 3D renderings, it makes it easy to visualize how the kitchen or bath can be transformed into something that will suit a variety of lifestyles and tastes.
This is a very cost- effective alternative to doing even a small kitchen and/or bath remodel before putting a house on the market. It can also be presented as a selling point because it allows for a prospective homeowner to customize the home for themselves and 'make it their own' after they buy it. An additional bonus is that the homeowner can opt to purchase the plans to use for their renovation after they buy the home, as the design will be based on actual dimensions and site conditions.
